Welcome!... Museum Quilt Guild is a group of people interested in quilts and quilting. Members provide encouragement, information and assistance to all quilters, whether beginners or those with more experience. If quilting is for you, our meetings will provide support and camaraderie!

Meeting Information:

The third Saturday of every month at the VA Medical Center in Batavia. Meetings begin at 9:30 A.M. You are welcome to attend 2 meetings as a guest. If you decide to join, dues are $20.00 per year. Membership Form

Cathleen Wiggs will speak to us about Quilts from the Civil War Era.

2017 Guild Challenge due at January 2017 meeting
The challenge is BARS. BARS of soap...BARtender...handleBAR mustache...BAR exam...prison BARS...candy BAR...Or any pieced bar like pattern. You get the idea! Make a wall hanging, home decor, wearable or other fabric creation. Total circumference is not to exceed 180".

Jack Edson will speak about portrait quilts.
For the month of February, the guild's 2017 themed challenge, "BARS", will be on display at the Richmond Memorial Library on Ross Street in Batavia, NY

March 2017
Marie Walters of Marie's Sewing Center in Lockport will do a
program on proper cutting and her husband will answer questions on
sewing machine care.
